RFID Products Offered in New Motorola Retail Line

Using RFID tags is an extremely convenient way for retailers to track their inventory. As part of their newest retail initiative to support RFID Gen 2 technology, Motorola presents the MC3090-Z RFID handheld reader.

This scanner is not only equipped with a dual-axis antenna for improve RFID reading range capabilities, but it also has the ability to scan bar codes, eliminating the need for two devices and giving retailers more bang for their buck. Another product Motorola has included in their Enterprise Mobility Solutions line is the Mobile Payment Module for MC70/75 mobile computers. The module offers mobile retailers a point of sale solution with payment functions for magnetic strip reader and debit card PIN entry, as well as chip and PIN payment cards.
